Daniel Miranda, 38, of Miami Cigar Dies

Daniel Miranda, Vice President and Director of Marketing for Miami Cigar & Company, passed away early Friday morning, 22 August, after a three year battle against cancer. He was surrounded by his family throughout the previous day and evening.


When not attending to business, Daniel most enjoyed being with his family as well as fishing and traveling.

Daniel went to work for Miami Cigar & Company after graduating from FIU, and was active in all facets of the packaging and marketing of the company’s products.

With Christina, his wife, Daniel had two (2) daughters, Daniela, aged 8 and Alexandra, aged 7.

Daniel is survived by his wife and children, his parents, Mariana and Nestor Miranda and his sister, Tatiana.

The services and internment will be private.

Donations in lieu of flowers to the National Brain Tumor Foundation.
