My Yoga
I have to be honest...I really don't know much about the Stock Market. But, what I do know is what my dearest friends and customers who ARE involved in this business are telling me. And the theme seems to be the same from everyone: We are in it up to our waists...and it's going to get worse before it gets better. Well fine!

Beach Day
Let's face it, it's getting harder and harder to find places where we can relax and enjoy our favorite smokes legally. And, if we DO happen to find a legal oasis to light up a Lonsdale, we're then faced with the dirty looks, dramatic coughs, ridiculous hand to face waiving, and a true moral dilemma of what to do.

Cigar Report, Today
There is not a more exciting time in the cigar industry than right about now each year. Retailers and manufacturers from the US and abroad take over a city -- and smoke it out for three or four days. Although the available venues each year are getting more and more scarce, the industry settled into the Sands Convention Center in Las Vegas two weeks ago for perhaps the last time.

Kahala Food and Wine Classic
The "Food and Wine Festival" craze has been an ever-growing phenomenon. Countless chefs and wine makers descend on a given place at a given time and serve a ridiculous number of people a crouton and a thimble of vino in hopes to win over their loyalty and prove to the guests that they are the real deal. I'm kind of over it. Or at least I was...

Stress
I've been inundated with questions regarding the cigar business in today's economy. Of course, cigars are one of those things that are considered an "extra" in many of our lifestyles; they're not on the list of essentials like food, water and shelter (although for me, they're somewhere between food and water).

The Good Life Diaries: A Talk with Jose Seijas
So often when you think of cigar men, you think of stocky guys in guyaberas standing in a field smelling tobacco leaves, their shirt pockets stuffed with freshly rolled puros for them to smoke all day. But there is a cigar man who is quite different. Tall in stature and always impeccably dressed, Jose Seijas is a soft-spoken gentlemen whose passion for making some of the most popular premium cigars on the market is incredibly evident, yet his demeanor is as subtle as the cocoa notes on the cigar that bears his name.

First Annual ProCigar Festival in the Dominican Republic
Well there is no doubt about it. The first annual ProCigar Festival in the Dominican Republic was a sensational hit! Unlike the festival thrown in Havana each year, the ProCigar festival was an intimate group of less than 200 people from around the world.

Dominican Republic
I just returned from a quick trip to the Dominican Republic. Within hours of my feet touching Dominican soil, I felt like I never left. I get to the Dominican Republic about four times a year, and every time is unique and special. This year I brought my girlfriend and two friends along with me- making it extra special.

Dunhill Estupendos
There’re tricks in every trade- but one thing cannot be faked, and that’s age. Whether it’s a good bottle of wine, a classic car or a great cigar, they all demand proper care, patience and a true love for them.

Special Occasion
I woke up this morning earlier than normal and opted to drive into work rather than taking the subway. After dimpling my tie, I walked over to the humidors to make my morning smoke selection – and found myself at a loss.
